The chiropractor is the only specialist trained to properly and effectively correct the vertebral subluxation complex. The chiropractor's education includes eight years of highly advanced health sciences. Chiropractic is a natural method of health care that treats the causes of physical problems rather than just the symptoms. By correcting vertebral subluxation and removing nerve interference using a series of spinal adjustments, the chiropractor will restore alignment, improve mobility, and relieve pain and stiffness.

1. How long does care take?
For some reason, Chiropractic physicians have the “high-pressure” reputation of requiring repeated patient visits for an extra long time. This is not true at East Valley. The doctors at East Valley believe that patients should actively decide the direction and their health.
2. How much does it cost?
We accept most insurances. For those with no coverage we have various payment plans and programs that are very workable. East Valley will never turn away a patient for financial reasons alone! Please call today to make arrangements.
3. What is chiropractic?
Chiropractic is the largest natural primary health care profession in the world. It is the fastest growing healthcare choice offering a noninvasive, non-drug alternative to the healthcare problems we face today satisfaction.

Based on the premise that the body is self healing and self regulating, chiropractic is rooted in the philosophy that the body has an innate ability to promote and maintain internal healing and ongoing wellness.

4. How does chiropractic work?
Spinal manipulation dates back ages ago practiced in one form or another in most cultures. Even Hypocrites said, "Look to the spine as the cause of disease". Chiropractors do not merely manipulate the spine. What sets chiropractors apart is that they locate misaligned vertebra and realign them with a specific movement called an adjustment. Once the interference (subluxation) is removed, your body has the ability to return to normal function which restores health. By improving nervous system function, your doctor of chiropractic helps your body restore normal health and helps your body fight disease. Chiropractic adjustments are extremely safe with an estimated risk factor in excess of one million to one.
5. What happens during an office visit?
Your first visit typically includes a case history, review of your past health, exam and x-rays if indicated.

If you qualify as a chiropractic patient, a second visit will include a spinal adjustment, as well as any muscle therapy, stretching, and massage as prescribed by the doctor.

If you do not qualify as a chiropractic patient, then another medical route will be determined at that time. You will receive the safest, least invasive, and most necessary form of care for your particular condition.
